A new innovation in building surveying offers clear benefits to Prendos clients. With the roots of the surveying profession dating back to the rebuild of London following the Great Fire in 1666, building surveyors have long been at the forefront of evolutions in the built environment, embracing the use of technology as it develops. Surveyors were early adopters of drone technology to survey structures that would otherwise require expensive access equipment. What was once specialist equipment is now commonplace amongst our tools.

The lack of damage or issue is evidenced in high-definition clarity – of particular importance in pre and post-development surveys – vastly reducing the client’s liability.
Sequential surveys on the subject building can be catalogued in a project, separated by dates, and reported on in the same fashion. Side-by-side views compare elements, selectable by date, providing a timelapse review. Works progress and quality assessment is brought into a new age with X-ray views as well as side-by-side comparisons. Issues can be opened and closed as appropriate and access at varying levels can be granted to client, surveyor, contractor and other professionals, creating a truly collaborative environment without ambiguity.
