Part of our Building Surveying team in the Bay of Plenty, primarily working out of the Rotorua office, Cameron brings his experience as a qualified and accomplished carpenter to Prendos. He also has degrees in Political Science and History, which contribute to his ability to tackle scientific literature and research, and his technical report writing skills. Cameron is particularly interested in all aspects of condition surveys, weathertightness investigations, insurance investigations, schedules of reinstatement, and long-term maintenance plans.
Cameron has extensive experience working on heritage homes throughout the Auckland region. This includes both his ’hands on’ experience as a carpenter, and his technical report writing experience that leads into project management of refurbishments and fit outs. His multi-faceted understanding proved invaluable when working on flood remediation and reinstatement work following the 2023 Auckland floods.
One of Cameron’s long-term goals is to become a Registered Building Surveyor through the New Zealand Institute of Building Surveyors. Outside of work Cameron likes to play golf when time allows and is also an avid reader and occasionally paints.
