Owners of leaky buildings often have difficulty obtaining information about what to do and where to go for advice. Prendos has compiled the following Leaky Building Resources to help familiarise owners with the nature and history of the problem, the central issues, the practical options and how to approach the task of remediation.
Our asbestos surveyors provide carefully considered and reasoned approaches on how to best manage and / or remove identified ACM. We send our asbestos samples to accredited laboratories, recognised by International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) and Worksafe New Zealand, for expert analysis and reporting, with strict linkages between the unique sample number, where and when it was taken, and what product it was taken from, all double bagged, logged, tracked and results inserted – in accordance with the standards required by being accredited BOHS P402 Asbestos Surveyors.
Because our PMs are qualified building surveyors, they are in a position to be able to both lead a team of technical consultants and advise clients with the benefit of knowing the big picture. In other words, we can explain what is happening and why. Without this degree of technical knowledge there is a risk of the technical team blinding a project manager with ‘tech speak’ and presenting a solution that may not be the most effective.
