Eastern Busway Alliance approached Prendos to carry out a substantial pre-development survey ahead of planned work on the Eastern Busway – an Auckland Transport project creating separate bus lanes linking Panmure, Pakuranga and Botany.
As an organisation with the needs of the local community as its primary focus, it was especially important to the Eastern Busway Alliance that the development work did not have a detrimental impact on neighbouring properties. They therefore engaged Prendos to provide pre-development condition surveys on a total of around 280 residential and commercial properties with the potential to be affected by development on the new bus route.
As one of New Zealand’s largest building consultancies, with around 80 Auckland-based staff, Prendos is one of the few organisations with both the capacity and the expertise to effectively deliver on a project of this scale and complete it within the client’s timescale.
The surveys carried out by our building surveyors provide a detailed record of the pre-development condition of all neighbouring properties that can be relied on in the event of any damage claim that arises from the development work. This will enable Eastern Busway Alliance to remediate any damage caused by the development, ensuring they can be a conscientious neighbour as they go about providing a benefit to the wider community.
