A certified Homestar Assessor, Shana has fifteen years of professional experience in residential, affordable living, environmental and sustainable projects in both New Zealand and the USA.

With a passion for sustainable practices, research and alternative building materials, her experience includes a range of work from project, master planning and reporting.

Shana has a broad understanding of sustainable design principles and standards and is experienced with numerous rating tools, guidelines and material certifications. She presented the Homestar tool at a WAO summit in 2018 and has also completed BRANZ LCA Quick training.

Shana has lived in New Zealand since 2009 and has extensive knowledge of NZ standards and Building Codes to supplement her international experience.
