Part of our Auckland-based Building Surveying team, Nick has gained experience across a variety of projects. These include building condition surveys, pre and post development surveys, quality assurance on residential buildings and weathertightness issues where he has found a particular aptitude and added real value to Prendos’ work.

Nick’s condition assessment experience includes carrying out pre-development surveys for the Eastern Busway project, and the Cameron Road works in Tauranga. He has also carried out condition surveys for a large supermarket chain located throughout the country.

Nick has also assisted our Senior Building Surveyors with the Engineer to Contract role, as well as helping with flood remediation work.

His strong interest in property and construction drew him to building surveying as a career, and he enjoys the varied nature of the role, which he says keeps him both physically and mentally active.

Eager to learn and ambitious, Nick graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor in Property and has since gained his Diploma in Building Surveying from New Zealand Institute of Building Surveyors (NZIBS). He is now working towards his assessment of professional competence through both the NZIBS and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) membership pathways.
