Matt first joined Prendos as a valuations assistant after graduating in 2014. He has become a Registered Valuer in 2017 and achieved Associate status of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers in 2019.

During his time with Prendos, Matt has undertaken an extensive range of valuation assignments across a broad variety of commercial and residential properties. He has experience with substantial subdivision and townhouse projects and has been involved with a number of the country’s largest developers. Matt has extensive experience valuing high value residential assets being a high value panel valuer.

Matt also oversees the commercial valuation team, who cover a broad range of industrial, office, retail and childcare valuations and rent reviews.

Matt became a Director of the company in 2023 and his other duties include market research and commentary for internal use and external publications, and overseeing valuations for quality and content.
