In his previous roles, Jay has worked as an Architectural Technician on commercial projects including the Regional Main Building of a Retirement Village and a number of 3-4 storey apartment blocks, ranging between $40-50m in value. As part of the Technical team, he worked alongside the Development team, assisting with architectural documentation and coordination of all external consultants such as Structural, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
Jay has always been interested in design and architecture, and enjoys seeing something he’s drawn on paper being built in reality. He has keen problem-solving skills, an eye for detail and the ability to quickly adapt to change – always curious to improve and to know more about new products, technologies and ways of designing.
He aspires to become a Certified Passive House Designer and Licenced Building Practitioner in the near future.
