A key part of our Structural Engineering team, Hakshay works on the structural design of building alterations and new buildings, including residential, commercial and educational buildings, and the seismic assessment of existing buildings.

He has worked on several large projects across the Auckland region, gaining both structural engineering and site management experience. He was the lead structural engineer for the remediation of Connaught Residential apartments – an 18-storey apartment building in Auckland CBD.

In addition to remediation projects, Hakshay has undertaken seismic assessments for a wide range of buildings across New Zealand, including schools, supermarkets, apartment blocks, manufacturing facilities, warehouses and other commercial properties. He was also involved in the seismic upgrade of a heritage building in Auckland – a complex project comprising concrete, steel, masonry structures with historical timber framing.

Hakshay also has extensive experience in the seismic design of secondary structures. He been involved in numerous seismic design projects, from small fitouts to new multi-storey buildings, including the Seascape Building – a residential skyscraper in Auckland CBD.
