Having worked on many difficult building designs, Andrew is passionate about seeing challenges through from conception to completion and overcoming problems with feasible solutions. He specialises in technical due diligence, fire safety design and passive fire protection services, and has worked as a Building Surveyor in Ireland, the UK, Australia and now New Zealand. This has given him a broad range of construction industry experience, and has seen him involved in some landmark projects.
His previous experience includes the utilisation of new construction techniques such as Cross Laminated Timber (CLT), and achieving building code compliance through performance based solutions for intricate client design requirements. He has also worked on many large projects including high-rise residential developments, high rise commercial buildings; community health facilities; food production and packaging facility and large scale industrial buildings. Andrew has also completed compliance/due diligence audits of existing building stock at many Sydney universities.
